Pastor Fred was born in New York but moved to Summerville, SC. It was here, at just 17 years old, that he experienced a powerful transformation when he committed his life to Christ. This early faith shielded him from many of the typical challenges of youth. By 23, he felt a clear call to ministry and began teaching youth Sunday school and leading Bible studies. His dedication led to ordination and eight fulfilling years as a youth pastor.

Through these years, Pastor Fred developed a deep passion for serving, teaching, and discipling others. His experiences have fueled a strong desire to see lives changed by the Gospel, a drive that continues to guide his ministry at Spirit and Truth- Southside. His mission is to nurture spiritual growth and build a vibrant community of faith in Downtown Charleston and surrounding areas.

With a compassionate spirit and a strong commitment to evangelism and discipleship, Katrina is dedicated to guiding individuals toward discovering their true identity in Christ and drawing closer to God. Her personal experiences and passion for discipleship play a vital role in her work alongside Pastor Fred at Spirit and Truth- Southside as the Campus Manager.
