  • MEDIA

    The Media Team plays a vital role in communicating our services and events. Help with live streaming, video production, sound, lighting, or graphic design to ensure a seamless experience for both in-person and online attendees.

    Position Tasks

    Operate a handheld camera or a mounted camera throughout worship and the message.

    Find and create unique and engaging camera views to create the best footage.

    Support and adhere to the direction of the Video Director.

    Help maintain camera care by putting away and wrapping cables.

  • WORSHIP

    The Worship Team creates time and space to encounter the Presence of God at our gatherings. Our heart is to glorify God with excellent musical expression.

    Position Tasks:

    Lead the congregation in worship through music, vocals, and instruments.

    Rehearse and prepare songs for upcoming services and events.

    Collaborate with the worship leader to align the worship set with the sermon and overall theme.

    Encourage and engage the congregation to participate in worship.

    Maintain a heart of humility and service while leading others in worship.

    Ensure proper sound and lighting settings are in place for worship.

    Support fellow team members in prayer and encouragement.

    Must have a passion for worship.

    Experience with instruments or vocals preferred.

  • YOUTH

    The Youth Team Members help out the upcoming generation find Christ and live fully for Him by partnering with our SAT Youth ministry! (Leader positions available for 6th-12th grade, single-gender male & female groups, as well as many other serving opportunities.)

    Position Tasks

    Welcome first time youth and parents by answering any questions they may have and check them in.

    Help connect youth with other youth and group leaders.

    Help Lead Members with Sunday task.

    Connect with students regularly throughout the week or as often as agreed.

    Support Youth staff with major Youth events and other after-service food and hangouts.

  • YOUNG ADULTS

    The Young Adults Team is specifically for 20-somethings that includes worship, community, and a message, as well as groups, retreats, and events throughout the year.

    Position Tasks:

    Welcome new young adults to the ministry and help them feel connected.

    Lead and facilitate Bible studies, discussions, and group activities.

    Coordinate social events and outreach opportunities to build community.

    Mentor and support young adults in their spiritual growth.

    Provide a safe and welcoming space for young adults to express their faith and struggles.

    Engage with young adults regularly outside of ministry events through social media, phone calls, or in-person meetings.

    Assist with any administrative tasks related to events, communication, or logistics.

    Must have a heart for young adult ministry.

  • PRAYER

    The Prayer Team supports our church and community through prayer. You'll pray for the needs of the church, members, and events, helping to build a strong foundation of spiritual support.

    Position Tasks

    Pray for and with attendees during and after service in designated prayer areas in church

    Pray for others throughout the week using online SAT Prayer Portal.

    Provide resources to attendees after prayer as needed (SAT resources, counselors, food banks, shelters etc.)

    Work with Prayer Team Lead to attend off campus prayer requests (campus prayer nights, hospital visits, funerals, etc)

  • WELCOME

    Greeting Team Members create a welcoming first-impression for everyone by showing excitement and grace as people enter our buildings!

    Position Tasks

    Greet guests with a high-five, handshake, fist bump, or whatever gesture fits your style!

    Help guide people to the front entrance and answer any initial questions they might have before entering in the building.

    Coordinate with Parking Team to ensure guide guests to the entrance the church building.

    Dance well with signs, in uniform, or with the occasional treat in hand.

  • HOSPITALITY

    Create the atmosphere of home at our church by enriching our Hospitality Team experience by assisting with ordering, coordination, and presentation of all campus food for weekend services and campus events.

    Position Tasks

    Create a welcoming and inviting environment in the Visitors lounge.

    Prepare and serve meals (hot or cold) in the Cafe’ or Visitors lounge.

    Manage and replenish snack and drink inventory in conference room and/or visitor lounge.

    Clean up and reset the Visitor lounge before and after guest.

    Coordinate with campus staff for major/minor campus events and support with catering, snack and/or drink needs.

  • USHER

    The Usher Team Members seat attendees, pass out materials, and provide assistance during services. Ushers also play a key role in maintaining order and ensuring that everyone feels comfortable during worship.

    Position Tasks

    Manage church flow before, after, and during service and ensure that guests quickly and efficiently find their seats.

    Count and track attendance for service (as well as salvation count when necessary.)

    Coordinate with other Ushers to effectively and efficiently collect offering.

    Coordinate with the Facilities Team to maintain lobby cleanliness by taking out trash and helping clean major spills and messes.

    Organize and clean up auditorium after service to ensure it is ready for the next service.

  • ADMINSITRATION

    The Admin Team support the church through administrative tasks like organizing events, managing communications, data entry, and more. The Admin Team ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes to support the church’s mission.

    Position Tasks:

    Support the leadership team by managing church communications, including emails and announcements.

    Maintain church records, including attendance, membership, and finances.

    Assist with Pastor scheduling for church services and activities.

    Coordinate meetings and ensure all necessary resources are available.

    Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, for easy access.

  • MERCH

    Merch Team Members help in interacting with and creating a warm and friendly guest experience while sending our family into Charleston with church merch to create culture and open up conversations about our Christ and our church.

    Position Tasks:

    Set up and manage the church merchandise table before and after services or events.

    Assist customers with merchandise selection and provide information about items.

    Handle sales transactions, including cash and card payments.

    Ensure that the inventory is well-stocked and neatly displayed.

    Promote and share merchandise items with the congregation during church events and services.

    Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and sales strategies.

  • PARKING

    Parking Team Members offer a safe and easy parking experience for all guests during services.

    Position Tasks

    Monitor and direct traffic to ensure cars get from the busy streets to the parking lot.

    Manage areas of the parking lot so that all parking spots are full and parked legally.

    Coordinate walkways so that attendees can walk inside safely.

    Communicate with other parking team members to ensure that all spots are filled and that the humans are safe.

  • FACILITIES

    The Facilities Team help maintain the church building and grounds by assisting with cleaning, organizing, and setting up spaces for events and services. The Facilities Team ensures our space is comfortable, clean, and ready for every gathering.

    Position Tasks

    Clean up and collect trash in the parking lots, entrances, bathrooms and everywhere in between.

    Help with snow removal in the winter, leaf pick up in the fall, and any other seasonal messes that may arise.

    Monitor and refill toiletries in bathrooms and lobby (janitors).

    Work with the Usher Team and janitors to straighten chairs and ensure that the auditorium is ready for the next service.

    Work with facilities staff to fix building issues and help with special projects to better the building.

  • SECURITY AND MEDICAL

    The Safety Team ensures a safe environment for members and guests, while responding to security and medical needs (using his/her certifications), and calling professionals when necessary. Certain qualifications may apply.

    Position Tasks

    Quickly determine the threat level for potential security issues.

    Manage active threats by leaning on previous training and support from your other Safety Response Team members.

    Document safety incidents and provide reports to campus staff and other Safety Response Team leaders (who, what, when, where, and why of the situation.)

    Support and communicate with Medical Response Team during campus emergencies.

    Lead and assist attendees in evacuation protocols when needed.
